(1) Except as otherwise provided in the contract, the goods sold or to be sold shall be deemed to be of satisfactory quality.
(2) If a particular item sold or to be sold for a specific purpose is suitable for that purpose, the item so sold or to be sold shall be deemed to be of satisfactory quality.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (2), it shall not be considered that such goods are not of satisfactory quality or are not of satisfactory quality if such goods are wrongly mentioned in the contract itself or if the buyer knows about such goods before entering into such contract or upon seeing the goods.
(4) If the quality of a specific item is mentioned in the contract, it must be according to the same and if it is not mentioned, such item must be of quality according to the prevailing level (standard).
(5) Except as otherwise provided in the contract, the seller shall not be deemed to have given a warranty that the goods sold or to be sold are of special quality.
